Eric Lincoln Hurst is a stand-up comic, rocknroll guitarist, catnip dealer, and occasional podcaster living a bi-coastal life between Seattle, WA and Manchester NH.His comedy can best be described as the end result of when teenage angst meets middle age disappointment while still having a good time.

 

Eric did his first open mic in 2002 at Seattle's legendary Comedy Underground, and became a regular there, and at Giggles and Laughs Comedy Clubs in Seattle.

2005-2010 Eric worked for Headliners Comedy Clubs throughout New England as well as indie shows, theaters, and fundraisers as one of New England's most requested opening acts.

​

In 2011, Eric's love of punk rock, hard rock, and comedy blended together for a run of shows called 'The RocknRoll Comedy Extravaganza' featuring a couple musicians sharing stories and rants, 3-4 comedians, and a couple bands at Seattle's infamous punk rock dives The Funhouse and The 2 Bit Saloon.

 

A frequent guest of the Altercation Punk Comedy Tour, he has performed at Punk Rock Bowling (Las Vegas) twice, FunFunFun Fest (Austin), and returns to the Altercation Comedy Festival in Austin from Oct 19-23, 2022.

American Music Press has called him, "A True Comedy Original," as well as, "One of the U.S. underground comedy scene's hardest working road dogs." (April 2010)

From 2010-2015 Eric made his comedy homebase at The Victory Lounge (Seattle), and ran an open mic called Comedy Conception before it evolved into The Comedy Hour, which featured 3 new comics doing 20 minutes each as a place for them to work on longer sets than what are available at open mics. Eric continued to open for bands at The Funhouse, the 2 Bit Saloon, and Darrell's Tavern (Shoreline, WA) as well as The Brickhouse (Dover, NH) up until Covid.

Post Covid lockdown has found Eric back in his home state of New Hampshire where he has established himself as one of Manchester, NH's must see comedy acts. He can regularly been seen at and working with: Scamps Comedy Clubs, Ruby Room Presents, Gone Rogue Productions, Laugh Lab NE, The Laugh Attic and in Portsmouth, NH at McCue's Comedy Club. A true comedy nomad, he works wherever his skills are a solid match for the event.

As a guitarist, Eric is best known for his work with Seattle punk rock outfit Quick 66. His current project is releasing instrumentals on SoundCloud so aspiring punk rocknroll vocalists have a free backing band to practice writing to.

​

Inspired by WA State ending cannabis prohibition, Eric decided to launch his own line of weed - but for cats! Live Fast Purr Hard Catnip is organically grown in WA State, is harvested once a year, and when it's gone, IT'S GONE! New crop gets harvested every August - cured and packaged for the purrfect holiday gift!
